Far and Away
Far and Away can show us what immigration and industrialization was like in America in the 1890's compared to Ireland.
This is a picture of Irish potato farmers who were experiencing the affect of the potato famine and poverty that was overcoming Ireland. It was for this reason that they immigrated to America.
This is a picture of Irish men working on the railroads of America. It shows the progression and industrialization of America compared to Ireland's farms
